During a DIY Smartscape consultation, our experienced landscape architects will work with you to determine your vision for your outdoor space or project. We will listen to your ideas, discuss your goals, and help you prioritize your needs and wants.

Whether you are starting from scratch, looking to reduce or replace your lawn with native drought tolerant plantings, or want to enhance an existing landscape, we can provide the guidance and expertise you need to achieve your desired results. We will also inform you of any local incentive programs that assist in the cost of retrofitting your irrigation system to be more efficient and water-wise, installing native plants, and removing passive lawn areas. Incentive programs such as the City of Bozeman Sprinkler System, Drought Tolerant Plant, and Turf Removal Rebate Program can provide you with up to $2000 in rebates for removing unused lawns, updating your irrigation, and planting native plants!

We offer consultations both remotely, in our office, and on-site, depending on your preference. In either location, we will provide you with a thorough assessment of your property and its potential, including a review of any existing features and a discussion of possible design solutions.

Note: Residential consultations are a $250 non-refundable fee, due at the time of appointment scheduling. Payable by check or credit card. Consultations are one hour long. Consultations outside of the Bozeman Metropolitan area incur an additional mileage and travel time fee.
